Took me several years to warm up to Mind Fuzz. It was a middle of the road KGLW release for me until a few years back. Now it's comfortably in the top 5, and on some days it's the one I like the most. It combines (or rather foreshadows) the best elements of KGLW's garage rock style - multiple connected songs, longer jams, slower tunes, acoustic stuff and the bangers. They would later refine all these styles, but this is still one of the best collections of rock songs ever assembled. An album consisting exclusively of highlights, with Am I In Heaven? being an out-of-the-box pick for their best song. Possibly the best closing song in any live show I've ever seen. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

I'm mostly in the same boat. I had been a casual listener of KGLW (if such a listener even exists haha), but it was this record which pushed me into being a Gizzhead (or... whatever we're calling ourselves). Tracks 1-4 live are killer, and those are my favorite tracks, but the whole album is amazing. Interestingly, this might be KGLW's least congruent album until Omnium Gatherum. Most of their albums are centered one a single theme or genre, but this has a bit of everything and it all works (which is not necessarily true of Omnium Gatherum). This is definitely my favorite KGLW album, and I can easily see it slipping into my all-time chart next time I make a revision. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
