Where are the Leafs right now? The rec centre.

The Doober by Sam Gendel & Sam Wilkes

Doober: A thingamajig; a whatchamacallit; A marijuana cigarette
Sam & Sam doobing everywhere. Doobtastic. LIFE.

What Brings You In by Leslie Ting

Leslie Ting can music better than you can. Using headphones? Go for the binaural version. Mixing's absurd.

Spine by Kee Avil

Plateau Mont-Royal Billie Eilish. Production-level: poutine.

The Carnegie Hall Concert by Alice Coltrane

Alice Coltrane can music better than you can. She can even music better than Leslie Ting. Wild that recordings like this are just... out there. Not having being release til now. Mindboggling. One of the best... ever?

Slow Burn by Baby Rose & Badbadnotgood

BADBADNOTGOOD doing what they do best. Backing vocalists that somehow sound like they can't be any age at all.

Every Creeping Thing by Simon McCorry & Wodwo

So soft. So vibrant. So brisk. Like holding the breeze.

Khôra: Cycle For Saxophone Quartet And...ki Alberdi
Picked this rec from Dbz. So rarely do we hear saxophone-fronted minimalist neo-classical music. Very textural vigour with a freeing release.

Funeral For Justice by Mdou Moctar
Tuareg blues Hendrix. Van Halen. Prince. Bombastic assouf. Imouhar's solo's a showpiece. Mdou does it again.

It was game 7. 0-0. Then... 1-0. Leafs were winning. For 80 seconds. 1-1. And then it was all a blur.

Sometime later this year, a new release from my newest favorite will be out there and I heard Mason Ramsey say it himself that it will be an album this time. Smile Smile Smile

God bless you and him always!!!

Holly (a girl who only loves him more every day)

P.S. His past releases have all been EPs.

It's almost as bad as the 1975 Barry Manilow vs. Olivia Newton-John War, only without the thousands of casualties caused by the illegal use of chemical and biological weapons.

I love this new song, but what I don't care much for is the vocal. I'm hoping that someone who can sing better will record this song. Lauren Talley would be fabulous on this song.

One of my favorite groups, 11th Hour, is releasing their new album "That's Who He Is" this coming Friday the 17th. It will include this song "Still Faithful". I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

I'm also looking forward to the upcoming album by Mark D. Conklin, which is also releasing this coming Friday. It's called "The Gospel According to Mark". So far there have been 2 singles from this album released. I will post them here.

After 2.5 listens, I can confidently say Britpop is AOTY material. The best work A.G. Cook has done, easily. Loved 7G, but this one is an improvement on almost all fronts. If the messiness and the crazy flow of 7G wasn't your cup of tea, this one keeps things a bit more under control. The best sounds and songs he's ever created.

Britpop by A. G. Cook
