Before and after Science, especially side 2
Early Roxy Music, Bowie's Berlin trilogy and everything by Talking Heads is produced by him and excellent
The Ambient stuff, of course. I especially like "Lizard Point" from Ambient 4
January Bell Studies and Lux - still ambient

An artist I really admire. Many of the key works have been said already but also The Pearl with Daniel Lanois and Harold Budd and his work with David Byrne are also essential listens.

This perked my interest in Eno's work early on.

Ah, yes. My Life in the Bush of Ghosts is an essential listen.

Fourth World Vol. 1 is terrific too, with Jon Hassel. Hard to find here in the states, though.

Good call also on Fear, my pick for Cale's best solo LP.

However, I thought he hadn't collaborated to '77, moreover, I wouldn't advise all of his collaborations

I actually picked up Fear from your chart. And you are correct about 77; I suppose it's just become habit to rattle out the first four albums when talking about Talking Heads. And as far as collaborations/production, I just meant the ones I listed; I haven't heard the albums you listed for his more mediocre work yet, but I was thinking more about his production for later U2 and Coldplay (both of which I like at times, but for which he has produced albums that I don't like, e.g. Mylo Xyloto and No Line On the Horizon).

An Ending (Ascent) is probably my favourite Eno moment that I have heard. Also, this song:

Anyway, yeah, I just listened to "Here Come The Warm Jets" and it was so asking ly energetic. It was brilliant!
Now I'm listening to Ambient 1. Oh. My. God! I am totally closed on the genius of this guy. I am so into this.

And I have a question: I saw a David Byrne and Brian Eno record at Bintage Vinyl used. It had houses on the front cover, forget the name. I have heard that their collaboration "Bush of Ghosts" is awesome. My question is, is that album good too?

Everything That Will Happen Will Happen Today. Yes, it's very good (the track Squishy posted above is from it). It's not the masterpiece that My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts is but it's still great. It's a lot more traditional then you might expect from them but that's not a negative.

the other standout (along with "Strange Overtones")
