Thoughts:
I betted no money and nothing whatsoever that VI&Nico would be 1.... Damn you Loveless.
You failed me BEA for no one else voting for my number one - "The Wild Hunt" by Tallest Man On Earth.
It's good to see Spiderland, YHF and Rain Dogs so hi.
BEA peeps have nice taste. Well done, all you!
Oh and yeah, could we have the scores, HTtS??? _________________ -Ryan

Great list indeed; some unexpected cool albums. Good amount of Hip Hop but electronic music is underrepresented (just realized there's no Kraftwerk).

My number one didn't make it, either.
It's a strange list to me...the albums seem right, but the placements seem odd. But, that's just me. _________________ May we all get to heaven

80% right. Generally surprised at how well Pink Moon and Unknown Pleasures have done, but pleased- the chart wouldn't have been as good if all the choices were obvious.
It really is a superb list, though. Nice to see Spiderland, Marquee Moon and Forever Changes so high. Also, Loveless is definitely a worthy winner.
It would be good if this list was made into a chart, so I can see which albums I need to listen to.

The Cool Things
-rolling stone/Nme could never come up with something like this
-weird/experimental music isn't ignored completely
-John Fahey made the top 200, didn't expect that at all
-a best ever poll with 3 swans albums in it?
-down colorful hill being right beside I could live in hope makes me laugh
-confield in top 250
The Petty Complaining
-jazz is painfully underrepresented (where is eric dolphy you horrible people)
-in den garten pharaohs? Townes van zandt? Curtis Mayfield's superfly? tv on the radio?
-I'm the only person who voted for Children of God aren't I
The Predictable
-its very alternative/indie-ish
-no one likes metal except the odd Black Sabbath or Metallica

It's definitely my favorite Swans album, but didn't make my top 50. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Really surprised by all the Pink Floyd. 4 albums in the top 50 (and not even Piper) !!
WTF : SMiLE barely makes the top 200 at 197 with albums like Franz Ferdinand ranked higher _________________ I'll be your plastic toy.

Great list! So happy to see Pink Moon so high.
Clube Da Esquina #195
Great to see in the top 100 Isn't anything, Up the Bracket, Untrue, Trout Mask Replica, WL/WH, Soulvaki, and others.
I can understand some albums I don't like, such as Born To Run and Ten, being in the top 100, but how the hell can American Idiot be there???
Looks like it's impossible to get rid of aall that Beatles, Pink Floyd and Radiohead.
Thanks HigherThanTheSun for making this.
