Rolling Stone loves to kiss ass to whatever is mildly in vogue.
I did like the inclusion of Heartthrob and Acid Rap. Trouble Will Find Me being so high was also nice. Modern Vampires of the City should not be that high, and neither should the massively overblown Random Access Memories.
Other than that, Rolling Stone is not a publication for whose musical rankings I much care. Peter Travers and them on film? Good stuff.

McCartney's New is at number 4 in their 2013 chart just as it is in mine. That's where the similarities end.
Just another list, not too bad. No holy scripture either.

I think it's still annoying to slide through individual albums (as far as lists go). Something this list should have done differently. If I were to rank it on a list of the best lists, it'd probably wouldn't be on there solely because of this.

I actually really liked the list. Sans the Arctic Monkeys, the top 10 is nearly flawless. It's nice to see Bangerz get the respect it deserves, as well. Much better than a stupid James Blake album.

It's a "decent" list
I like to see Yeezus, MVOTC, Reflektor, Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, and a few more on there (and as high as they are)
However, I disliked Bangerz and Pure Heroine quite a bit

I'm surprised to see Sky Ferreira on this list They didn't like that album very much.
And I haven't heard it yet, but the Jake Bugg album came out in the middle of 2012...
Oh well. I have a feeling that Daft Punk, Kanye and Vampire Weekend will almost be everyone's top 3 this year. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!
