MF Doom
MC Ride
Nas
Wu-Tang Clan (basically all of them are great)
Eminem (his rapping is brilliant, songwriting not so much tbh)
If you don't have MF Doom in the top 5 you're probably joking _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

My top 5 (in no particular order) would be:
-Eminem. The Slim Shady LP is quite good. The Marshall Mathers and The Eminem Show are both outstanding, and between those two, he wrote Lose yourself and a couple of other great tracks for the 8 mile soundtrack. Granted, his last albums have been mediocre, but he still has managed to write some gems since then (Mockingbird, When I'm gone, Beautiful...)
-Kendrick Lamar. Yeah, it might be too soon for some people, but this guy is miles ahead of everyone else right now. He has released four consecutive records that range from good (DAMN) to absolutely brilliant (Good kid, mad city and To pimp a butterfly).
-The Notorious B.I.G. In terms of pure flow, I think he was one of the best, if not it. He release a great album (Ready to die) and an overlong album that still had some great tracks (Life after death).
-Jay-Z. He's managed to stay relevant longer than any other rapper (more than 20 years now). Every time I think he's done, he releases a good album. The blueprint might be one of the most consistently great rap albums of all time.
-2Pac wrote a lot of great songs that unfortunately never materialized into a great album, while Nas released one of the greatest albums of all time, but after that he kind of got lost in the shuffle. It's hard for me to choose between these two, but for pure emotion and charisma, I'll go with Pac.
