I suppose my favourite would be Eugeniusz Rudnik with the album "Studio Eksperymentalne Polskiego Radia".

Mark Hollis is one album that comes to mind. It takes the style mastered in Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stalk and makes it even more intimate. A Winged Victory For the Sullen also. One of the most moving albums I've ever heard.
