Just sayin'...you could make one post with 5 albums in it instead of flooding the thread with five posts in a row...

I’m not sure about that. I tend to post as I play the album and personally I’m not going to post five or ten in one post as it’s more about sharing the immediate experience rather than an album I played three hours ago.

Also, part of the enjoyment is having a conversation about what you have just posted. That would get lost somewhat. Just sayin’ but I think that individual posts work best.

The 5 posts in question were made basically all at the same time. It was not posted as they were played. And there was no conversation involved with any of it. Is five albums ago the "immediate experience"?

I'm simply trying to keep things from being flooded here. We really don't have to post...absolutely everything. This thread gets massive use, and making multiple posts at once can bury things that are immediate pretty quickly.

Currency Of Man by Melody Gardot

Great pick and someone that you don’t see on the website that much. My wife bought me this album for my birthday last year which was my first exposure to melody. I was blown away. Not an easy sound or album to pigeon hole. Jazz in the broadest sense I guess.
