Yeezus at number 1 is a refreshing aspect to this chart. It's definitely a unique artistic statement and I can see how it would be very influential to listeners and musicians who really get into it. It's abrasive and upsetting to some and very divisive, but that is a trait of many great albums in history. I'm sure people were saying the same thing in 1970 about Trout Mask Replica, or about It Takes A Nation Of Millions... in 1989 or 1990. And just to clarify I am not as of now a big fan of Yeezus, but Ido recognize its greatness to a degree.

As for the rest of the chart, this dude seems to have a tendency to choose somewhat out of nowhere albums in bands' and artists' discogs as their best work. Example would be Naked (I recognize it is beaten out by RIL, but still in top 10.) and Get Behind Me Satan and The Information and It's Blitz and (OMFG are you serious) Wilco (The Album). Hell, even Yeezus fits that tendency. This can be again refreshing, but also just strikes me as weird. Idk, I guess every one of those choices strikes me as incorrect and off the wall and so that is that. I guess it's just a preference thing.

It's an okay chart.

I don't know... it doesn't seem diverse in comparison to some albums knocking about this site and the subjects /topics seem like a step backwards and nothing which has been said before. It's more juvinial rich boy than 'It Takes A Nation Of Millions...' more justified anger.

I guess I enjoy juvenile foolishness more than righteous rage. Wonder what that says about me...
