This is really great. I hadn't anticipated how really great this would be. Healthy amount of albums from this decade too.

Fantastic chart. Don't understand how anybody could think Hell Hath No Fury is superior to Lord Willin', but it's gripe so minor it's insignificant (if a gripe at all). It's a strange dichotomy having all those hip-hop albums alongside all those very, very white indie, metal and punk records - you'd expect some jazz or soul to bleed in there somewhere. There are some fantastic, underappreciated choices littered throughout; mad props for the inclusion of Innercity Griots, Moment of Truth, Below The Heavens, among others. I guess I should drop off some recs, seeing as your tastes are pretty similar to mine, but I'll give it some thought first. Could definitely use a few more electronic albums, but the ones here are stellar (Burial, FlyLo, not to mention proto-electronic guitar acts like Neu! and PIL). It's dope, keep up the good work.

Thanks guys! I try to listen to different genres but I have not heard that much from before the 90s. I will explore some more jazz and soul too.

Yeah, I'm like Dave, in that I wasn't expecting such a great and very unique chart. And I definitely didn't pick up from your forum presence that you were so into Hip Hop. And metal. Yeah, that's awesome!

Nice chart. A little heavy to the more recent decades (80% from 1990 onwards) but nothing wrong with that. You've got a great deal here I need to listen to.
