Excellent album! By a really interesting group. I need to get back onto this band's whole discog.

Also the song "Saying I love You" is the perfect mix of poppy and heartbreaking and relatable. Love it!

Really enjoy this record. It's a shame his solo record was so mediocre in comparison

I really wanted to like it, but no. it was bad. My friend Seth was his touring drummer for that record too.

I got a chance to see his first ever solo show, where he debuted that material. I was so excited going in, it was only like 100 people, super intimate show, and I would get to be one of the first to hear the new album. Needless to say I came out far less excited than I did going in.

Yeah this album is some fantastic melancholic pop. Not sure why people don't like this since every song is so well crafted. Possibly his voice? But that just adds to the feeling that this whole album is like a charming sleazy drunk in his late 20s half the time trying to get laid and the other half bemoaning what his life has become.

"Just A Song" is a gem and my personal favourite here but every track is fantastic.
