I'm sure Silver would have something better to say about this album, but this is really amazing. It's a wonderful amalgamation of sounds to make something truly unique.

Whoa. The really laid-back experimental rock meets indie rock vibe about it is real cool, then the 60s Velvet-esque keyboards thrown on top are the icing on the cake. This is some otherworldly music.

In my top ten, honestly one of the most unique and wonderful album experiences you could possibly have. I'm too tired right now to be bothered to write a big thing, but it's wonderfully unique and captivating. Best combination of noise pop, lounge music, post-rock, krautrock, and French pop music ever.

By the way this was one of my picks for the 500+ chart, so should I switch that out so we don't get a repeat?

Along with most of Stereolab's discography, this is one of the most creative indie pop records ever made. The unique textures that line the music never sacrifice fun for cleverness, a common trade among their peers. I can listen to Stereolab in a fifteen-minute EP or a 3-hour compilation and be fascinated the whole way. One of the greats. Still, this one in particular is just really good. I always preferred the obvious Emperor Tomato Ketchup along with Mars Audiac Quintet, my favorite being the Oscillons compilation.

Ketchup and Audiac are second and third for me respectively, then I'd probably go Dots and Loops and Refried Ectoplasm, followed by Oscillons. Fun fact, Stereolab are the band I have listened to the most material from of any band ever. Artist wise Bob Dylan I've maybe heard more, but it's close.
