Rivals Madvillainy for my all time favorite rap album. Great album, and also very versatile (sounds great while listening critically, partying, walking, gaming, reading, etc;)

Good point! Yes, this album is plain awesome in every way. It's my favorite hip hop album no question. GZA and RZA are just a two headed monster here killing it on both ends of the court. This album is to hip hop albums what the 95-96 bulls were to basketball, the best - I see GZA as MJ and RZA as Phil Jackson and I see Method and the other supporting players as Pippen and Rodman sort of filling out this team.

I really like it, but I don't love it. One of the better hip-hop projects from the '90s.

How do these two sentences together even make sense?

GZA's best, for sure. One of the best Wu records whether from the group or solo artist. Unlike almost every hip hop album back then, there is no bullshit or filler to be found anywhere.

I don't love a ton of '90s hip-hop albums! I love a few, though. Very Happy

I prefer '10s and '00s hip-hop.

I don't understand how these words make sense in this order.
