1) Both covers feature animals on the cover
2) All animals look to the right of the cover
3) The featured animal is white (OK, mostly...)
4) A big portion of both covers is green

The Sophtware Slump by Grandaddy
1. Landscape
2. The Disco Inferno symbol reminds me of a wifi symbol which reminds me of a computer which reminds me of a keyboard.

Madder Mortem: Eight Ways
I racked my head for something that used keyboard keys and failed, so I defaulted to this, which also has green pastures, blue sky and mountains. I hope the futuristic thing on this cover leads to less green pastures.
