Under Lock And Key by Dokken
1. Dokken - Under Lock & Key
2. Def Leppard - High & Dry
3. Ratt - Out Of The Cellar
4. Van Halen - Woman & Children First
5. Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love
I only list five since the rest of the list would just be the same bands, but different albums. Like Ratt's Invasion of Privacy, Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil and Def Leppard's Pyromania. Honestly I play these albums when I'm in the same mood for other AOR Metal of the early 80s like Ozzy, Dio & Rainbow that may or may not be considered Hair Metal, but would fit in perfectly on same playlist. |
Whoops..... I forgot about Dokken! Yeah, Tooth and Nail is a very solid album.

I like those two first Skid Row albums.

For sure. And yeah, WASP had a really interesting trajectory - they were putting out concept albums and stuff by the early 90s and then put out some like NIN industrial metal in the late-90s _________________ 2023 Chart

Metal bands try not to have LOTR or Goya references challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
(Will give it a listen now, so clearly the Goya promotion stuff works) _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

AND now this here geezer is very motivated to check out some '90s Metal!!!
Listening to Carcass' Heartwork and loving it. I'm also working on 1985 Metal in my thread, but I'll definitely be starting to build some '90s Metal charts in the background!
