I'll check the cure live on sub-content, long-time cure fan here : ) I do remember being blown away by subwoofers on their live concerts sometimes.. But ofc it's standard bass guitar most of the times, I'm guessing it won't drop much below the 50Hz mark.. (standard 4-string bass guitar lowest E note is 41Hz it seems)

I know there's little respect for Will.I.Am on this site, but Boom Boom Pow has some massive bass response and at really cool frequencies, especially at the middle 8/break down.
