Much preferred El Camino to this. It's got its highlights (Howlin for you, Never Give You Up, Tighten Up, The Only One) but there are too many filler tracks that I didn't get anything out of and the album is a bit too bloated. (Edited)
The album that allowed all action movies to have a great soundtrack for things blowing up. Brothers shows that being faithful to rock and roll can still produce great guitar music in the 2010s.
WOW - I'm just hearing this album for the first time in Oct 22 and unlike many comments, I am loving it from start to finish. I felt like I knew so many of the tracks right from the off and after 6 listens it's ingrained in my mind. I don't feel 56 minutes is too long or there is much below great on this album. It's scoring an average of 79 on the site so it's obviously resonating with many others too. I like when you find an album from a band that have a few other albums to go and explore and they have another 10 to explore - let's hope more of the same! (Edited)
Another solid blues garage rock album by The Black Keys that shows them getting more comfortable in what would be their 2nd of four albums with Danger Mouse. However the 55 minute length holds it back from being a truly great album and it starts to drag in the last third.

Solid 80 points worth of roots related music.
It's not bad, but the White Stripes comparison is obvious and doesn't do them any favors.
