I'll be honest, I haven't heard of (or heard) these tracks, and was a little baffled scrolling through the responses. Turns out I've never actually heard Their Satanic Majesties Request - just skipped it apparently. Suppose I should give it a spin.
My favs have all already been mentioned, nothing more for me to add. |
You know why? For years the album was slammed as a failure and even the best tracks were never much written about or talked about, except as part of a bad album. But the best tracks are great. That's why I'm very happy to see that the album is pretty highly rated here at BEA. Which is great.

No particular order, but Sympathy For The Devil is definitely my favorite Stones song. Honestly there are plenty of other songs I like just as much, these are just the ones I could think of off the top of my head that I really enjoy and would rate 10/10

I think Brown Sugar and Jumpin' Jack Flash sound similar, so felt like I had to choose one and went with Brown Sugar. Maybe other people made that calculation too. Paint It Black's my second favorite early Stones song -- could've easily been my #10. Street Fighting Man's classic Stones and a great intro, but don't love the chorus.
