Hi Bay,
I'm still in the waiting queue so I would like to change my top 10 if that's okay for you. The existing list was just the 10 best ranked album of my overall top 100 but:
When I look at other peoples' top tens in here, I see that, or they take a thematic view like Jimmy Dread now on folk or they don't make the most obvious choices. Indeed it doesn't make a lot of sense to let people vote on albums everybody knows already (Daydream Nation, Master Of Puppets, The Bends, Help!) so I would like to introduce a list which still matches my musical taste completely but focuses on lesser known albums: none of the albums in my new list are in the overall BEA top 2000.
I also tried to make it as diverse as possible but I realize it's still centered around 90s guitar albums but I'd like to think that they all have their own kind of special features which makes them stand out from the rest. I only smuggled one Belgian album into the list.
Btw I ranked the artists alphabetically so it is not even ranked from good to less good.
Especially for this I made a custom chart:
My Get To Know A Top 10 by dihansse
And here is the full list:
1. Ascencion - The Aints
2. Palomine - Bettie Serveert
3. Swagger - The Blue Aeroplanes
4. White Soul - Green
5. Flip Your Wig - Hüsker Dü
6. Blue Sky Mining - Midnight Oil
7. Bakesale - Sebadoh
8. People Are Like Seasons - Sophia
9. TC Matic - TC Matic
10. Eroica - Wendy & Lisa

Sounds good. I've edited the queue accordingly. _________________ Add me on RYM
