Likewise. It's all about finding new favourites for me. If our selection had been our top 32, it would've been a little boring (albeit, possibly faster to run through).

Biggest snub though? I'd probably vouch Jean Grae X Quelle Chris's Everything's Fine (which, frankly, holds its biggest fault in the album cover).

100% agree with Gowi and Hayden - much more fun to find some new sounds than debate the tits off the merits or otherwise of the usual suspects if you ask me.

That said, I didn’t nominate my no.1 LP of last year (Sons Of Kemet) as I picked them in the Song tournament, so thought I’d give Al et al. the nod.

Well people have work, families, want to do other things than listening to music. Also if that was the case, some of the remaining brackets would have more votes and discussion as of now. Hell, as of now, I have only 4/16 of the brackets done.

It was four weeks last year too and we had votes coming in each week. I couldn't have said it better, Luigii. It's important to me that participating in this tournament be accessible to more than just the most hardcore forum folks. Also, keep in mind that it goes quickly after round one, with just one week per round.
