Two very different types of nostalgia here. In 2004 I might have gone with My Immortal (and indeed I like it when Amy Lee is at her most Tori-esque, despite the somewhat VHI feel of the song), but now easily Mike The Streets Skinner, one of if not thee best storytellers of the 2000s.

Amy Lee; possibly the richest, purest, most glorious voice of the decade. Super easy slam dunk choice here over the lazy rap.

Worst matchup yet. I had to vote for Evanescence even though I was 200% sure that My Immortal was never gonna get my vote for anything anywhere.

So... you voted Evanescence and I voted Evanescence and yet Evanescence has only one vote. Curious.

Do be careful when you're voting, often times when one is intending to vote for the bottom song they can accidentally hit abstain especially if they are voting on a mobile. I hope that's not becoming a problem in this tournament Think

Original Pirate Material was one of my faves of the entire 2000s. As someone else already said, Skinner's storytelling is on another level altogether.

May have to burn Evanescence for my girls though!
