On one level, this list copies Scaruffi so much one can discredit it a little. However, I must admit that Scaruffi has influenced my listening habits so much that this is no discredit, even if I do not always agree with him.

On another level, this list does contain some of the most remarkable works of art that it needs to be rated highly. Hejira, Astral Weeks, Loveless, Yerself Is Steam, Future Days, Marquee Moon, Unit Structures, The Doors, Dummy, Spiderland, Yeti, Fire of Love, Head Over Heels, Electric Ladyland, Ys and Have One on Me make much too impressive a list to neglect. The one surprise – The Meters – is another to-do for me too.
