Voting LCD only because I live in Washington now and it's hard enough as is to escape the oppressive omnipresence of folk punk so this is more a vote of moral outrage than anything (or uh maybe I should just no vote...)
In 2014 I probably would have voted for Smith Street. Today, it's an easy vote for LCD Soundsystem. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
I knew folk punk wouldn't get much love here but as it's turned out I'm happy to have done my bit to help the excellent Dance Yrself Clean, (one of my favourite songs of that year) go through to the next round.
The Smith Street Song is fun, but that LCD Soundsystem song is arguably the best thing they've ever done. And I'm not a big fan to begin with.
Agreed 100%. I'm not a big fan, but wouldn't be bothered if Dance Yrself Clean won the whole tourney, that's how good that song is. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
