Love this record. It's not my favourite Shins album - both Oh, Inverted World and Wincing have weirder production and more risks in the songwriting department, which endears them to me more. But this is still golden front to back, probably their most consistent album. In the current situation, I've considered doing another run through of the Shins discog. Their music is kind of like comfort food to me - not the most mindblowing or emotionally complex, but it takes me back to a simpler time and makes me happy.
