Very good album. I prefer Oh, Inverted World, but this isn't too far behind.

Well, it's currently #3 on my overall chart, so that kind of speaks for itself.
Anyway, it's hella dope, obviously. James Mercer is an extremely talented songwriter. "Young Pilgrims" and "Saint Simon" are my personal favs.

Gone for Good and Pink Bullets = just about the greatest songs of the 2000s. I was and still am slightly obsessed with those 2 tracks.
The rest of the album is also quite good. Mercer really is a beast. And while I never totally fell for this album fully from start to finish it is still a very impressive album and one of my faves of last decade.
There is something magical about some of the songs and melodies on here though.
It's a 86/100 for me. Pretty fab. _________________ -Ryan

It's the greatest album of all time. Honestly I can't really fawn over it any more than I already have. Second for second, there is no other album I'd rather listen to. James Mercer is top 5 on my gay crush list.
