It's sad how St Vincent's music has become such a snoozefest over the past couple of albums, I mean a well-crafted but completely constricted and uninteresting sound that seems to play a distant second fiddle to her own (somewhat thinly defined) personal myth-making. Given I was no fan of neutered Tyler on Igor, but at least I find this song somewhat interesting and that it actually, well, moved somewhere over the course of it's track time, and it gets another unenthusastic vote over the low-hanging plastic fruit targeted in "Los Ageless".

Hmmm... cool take on St. Vincent, but I still love her and she gets my vote here.
I agree that St. Vincent's music is much less interesting than it used to be, but Los Ageless is a bop. It's one of the better pop songs in recent memory. The full album of Los Ageless-type music doesn't work as well, especially since not every song is as good. A vote to Tyler's best track off of Igor though. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
Tyler's evolution as an artist has been incredible. I remember after being disappointed by Cherry Bomb thinking to myself, "well we're four albums in already, maybe his music just isn't for me". He is one of the three biggest names from Odd Future but outside a couple excellent tracks, Earl and Frank had much more impressive starts to their solo careers. Since then however he's dropped two AOTY contenders for 2017 and 2019, completely erasing any doubts I had prior in his ability to craft albums that appeal to me. His production abilities have also really started to shine over the years. Compliments to his recent choices of album art as well, although I guess that was never really bad regardless.
St. Vincent has been going downhill since 2011 for me, even songs I enjoy from her newer records I have no desire to even return too. Los Ageless is in that category. When listening it is enjoyable, but after this tournament I have no idea the next time I'll play this song, if ever again.

This may be obvious, but I agree with you on this one
Her constant style changes are exactly why I like her as much as I do _________________ I wanna take Sean Penn
And take Sean Bean
Put 'em in a blender
And make Sean Pean
An excellent matchup between the best songs on their respective albums. Really tough vote. Going to go with St. Vincent by a hair, but I'll be happy with either outcome. _________________ Add me on RYM
