I don't think any teams that can trade for Harden want to outside of maybe the Nets and 76ers. I don't see the money matching in most other situations. Harden might have to play out the rest of his contract.

I've heard that one a couple of years ago and had to triple check. Seems bizarre. I'm much more of a Kevin Love fan than Mike Love though, one of my favourite NBA players. He's been very openly discussing his panic attacks (following DeRozan's talk about depression), it's an important step in destigmatizing the mental health talk in sports. It runs in the family apparently, Brian Wilson is his dad's cousin.

Wow the trade is real. So, technically, Oladipo and 8 picks for Harden is... good?
This is nuts overall. Rockets have flipped Harden, Westbrook and Covington for Wood, Wall, Oladipo, 4 unprotected firsts and 4 unprotected pick swaps. That's still not a win since Harden can't exactly be replaced, but it's the best rebuild material currently alongside OKC.

Harden with Irving and Durant? Explosive offensive power, but a few questions:
1. Who is on their bench? Big 3 can't play 40+ minutes every night. If they have an injury...
2. How will they share the ball? Top 3 all need 40% touches. Irving left Cleveland to get more touches, and Harden drops his arms and does nothing when he doesn't have it.
3. It's sad when Durant is the best teammate of your top 3. Will Irving and Harden get along? Will Joe Harris ever get a pass?
I might eat my words, but I think this trade was a huge mistake for Brooklyn. Either way, I now know who I'm rooting against.
