reminds me of a very happy time in my life
some sterling tracks but not consistently terrific
still it has several moments of sheer brilliance
my fave track is All These Things That I've Done.

Jenny is the best song and I have tons of nostalgia here. The best post-punk revival songs of the 00s had killer basslines.

the nostalgia associated with this album hits hard. i listened the daylights out of this in high school, and it was the one album that overlapped all of my friend groups and all of my family members. i find it hard to revisit anymore, but it's a classic. if i had to pick one album out of a hat that represented that era of my life, it's got to be hot fuss.
