Post subject: Best songs under 2 minutes in length?
I think there are a couple of obvious candidates for this that many of you will suggest - Golden Slumbers by the Beatles and Please let me get what I want by The Smiths.

Two minutes is too much time — there are punk fans on this forum for whom half their music library probably consists of songs that are under 2 minutes. My own has 2,148 such tracks, and I was never really that much of a punk fan. (Okay, maybe for a year or two...) Besides, "Fitter Happier" from OK Computer is 1:57, so everybody's just going to pick that, right?

Ah okay, I'm usually not a fan of short songs, to me anything less than 1 minute I don't really consider a song. More an interlude. As I'm not sure you have enough time to really have the buildup to different sections of a song. So to me finding good songs less than 2 minutes is a challenge!
I also missed another obvious one that is one of my favourites - Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens. Would probably put that second behind Golden Slumbers.
Go here and start with the #7 track and then go into the next one. A minute and forty-six seconds that only makes me smile especially when my newest favorite person has the first and last singing solo of track #8.
