So overrated (probably most overrated of the 2010s) and superficially shortcoming of enjoyability it's the furthest thing from funny. It's like my 11th favorite hip hop record of 2015 alone. Now someone will try to insult me into thinking otherwise Brick wall
Undeniable favorites: For Free, U, Alright, The Blacker The Berry.

English pig-dog! Go and boil your bottom, son of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called music fan! Change your mind now!

In all, or at least more, seriousness, at one point I considered this the best album ever. That first year after release I was madly in love. Still quite like it/bordering on love.

Maybe the biggest *event* album since I’ve joined this site in late 2012. Like, I can’t think of another album that was so talked about here and on other western music nerd internet spots as this. Was huge.

Anyway, I thought at the time the Tupac cameo at the end was corny as fuck. And more and more so by the year.

That's right and I'd add it's not only the internet, the main reason this record is one for the history books is because of its influence on a personal and communal level. It raised social awareness, expressed the struggles and gave hope, dare I say it changed many people's lives - or at least it meant a lot to them - in a way very few albums have, it stands comfortably next to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill/It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back/What's Going On, etc, in that regard.
