The Red River is a cool prog track, I've heard hundreds of similar songs, but the execution is good. Tbh I much prefer the other metal track in the tournament (Knoll's Felled Plume). I like my modern prog metal more on the extreme and/or avantgarde side, not the cheesy epic Nevermore worship (with a few exceptions). Bad Habit's pretty cool too, will probably get my vote. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

Eh Seventh Wonder is more on the Threshold side of things than Nevermore. Very few bands really embody Nevermore.
Like I said, didn't expect this song to go far, but felt like sharing.
Steve Lacy has never really been able to click with me, even if Bad Habit might be my favorite song I've heard from him. Went with The Red River here. Never been much into metal music either, especially not prog metal. But this song was cool kinda sounds nostalgic to me for some reason. Reminds me of like 2006 runescape pking montages lmao. cool vibe _________________ Griselda, by Fashion Rebels 2020's Hip-Hop 2020's Country
The Red River is a strong example from a (on BEA at least) polarizing genre, perhaps slightly odd for a singles tourney. But "Bad Habit" has become a favorite rather quickly, both the production and overall delivery is just exquisite.
