Less thrilling and unpredictable than her debut. Still stunning.

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

I really enjoyed this. Love the sax on this, really has that sort of noir, late night in the city kind of feeling at times (especially on the second track). It can get a bit slow at times, but generally, this is really solid, definitely something I'd enjoy putting on while driving with the windows down on a summer night

Should be able to give this a spin later tomorrow Smile

Always up for some Norwegian post-minimalism.

I had a bunch of different albums I thought about choosing, but I settled with A) an album from the current year, and B) something that'd be pleasant to listen to.

I had a couple more extreme choices that I thought about, but I'll save one of those for next time.

Wonderful listen, debuts high in my year chart. It's such a gentle, somber and sonically pleasing album. Never gets boring. Perfect album while working too, you can just put it in the background and chill. Which is not its primary purpose ofc, but it's always a nice perk. Some of the textures are frankly incredible.

I think as I get older I gravitate towards this kind of jazz more-and-more. Soothing yet sparse, with the notes immaculately placed in a slow dirge-like tempo that never fails to hold your attention. Never once during this listen did I feel like the music was fading into background noise and I imagine this is one I’ll revisit many times.

I'm still waiting for it to click! Listened a couple of times while do paperwork & bills. Hasn't quite grabbed me like other BEAers YET.
