This was a really fun listen! Absolutely love the vibe on some of these songs, the cool sorta jazzy chords that are used on a few of the songs (including the first song) is really awesome, kinda almost gives like a Steely Dan vibe in a way to some of the songs? I dunno, but still, really cool album, really enjoyed it

Because I didn't feel like checking if its on BEA or not. All records I listen to are available on Spotify as well, so that's something I probably should've mentioned but chose not to.

A really pleasant listen. Nothing groundbreaking or new, but it didn't need to be, it's exactly what I expected and I had fun while listening. Felt a bit stale and idealess at parts, even though the overall sound was always enjoyable. Usually, I'm not that interested in the overproduced and "too clean" sophisti pop (or indie pop in the same vein), and while this could definitely fit in that category, I actually thought the production was reasonable and allowed the band's playful chord progressions to shine. Just like RockyRacoon said - it's jazzy and it's cool. I'll probably play it a few times this week while working.

I really enjoyed this one! It felt like a combination of

You And Your Friends by Peach Pit and

Pre Pleasure by Julia Jacklin which are two of my favorite albums from this decade. Definitely also had some moments of very retro and 70s-esque production with synth horns and winds which I love. Particularly on the opening track and "Daydream"

I'll be returning to this one a lot for sure

Ha! No wonder u were itching to start up ALC again and made sure you got the very first slot!

You were just DYING to show off this little City Pop aka Sophisti-Pop gem, weren't ya?! <Admit it! Wink Razz >

While sophisti-pop and super clean sounds are usually not my forte, even I have to bow down before this record. I swear to god it cleaned my kitchen all by itself just now. Squeaky clean with those little sparkle bubbles emblazoned on all the dishware even!

Definitely will make my year chart at the very least. I suspect it could find itself very high up on it!

Great, great rec, Gowi! Applause
