It's a good pop record. I think it's a little too long though. Definitely some fat. But some classic songs.

I think this is a great coming out party. I can forgive the jams at the end for all of the really great songs Harrison was able to put out on one release. Every one of the first 18 tracks are excellent. Even the jam works as a celebration, which is what this album has always felt like. If anyone should have been happy to be out of The Beatles, I would think it was George. And he did it with a bang, for sure.

The best Beatles solo album. Only Plastic Ono Band by John Lennon comes close.

I'd say Ram deserves a mention, but otherwise I'd agree.

This one or the or John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band is the greatest Beatles solo album. Can't decide, but I've currently ranked the latter highest. Yes, Ram comes close too.

The jam side here is wildly unnecessary, but acceptable if you're in for some pretty bland improvisation. The rest of the album is gold, however, and has a peaceful folk vibe to it. Lovely!

Well, you all know what I think of this album. It was my #1 until OK Computer finally "clicked" for me. Still sits proudly at #2 on my list. George was my favourite Beatle, and consequently I enjoy his solo stuff the most. All Things Must Pass - despite its' length - is from start to finish an amazing album. Best song is the title track, not sure what I'd call the worst song. Maybe one of the jams for reason of redundancy, but I even enjoy those.

The only release by a solo beatles member or their side projects I can say is great.

George was always my favorite Beatle. His songs were always personal and loving and often as experimental as any of the Beatles' other songs. To finally have heard this solo album was a treat to me.

This. This right here sums up everything about my thoughts the first time I heard ATMP three years ago.
