Carmello is a beast, and the Knicks are experienced. They may be tougher than people give em credit for. The celtics have similar traits but they don't have a prime time superstar playing at the same level as a Melo, or Lebron, or Chris Paul or a Kobe before he got injured. I feel Knicks in 5 over celtics. _________________ -Ryan

Just remember...the Nuggets are better WITHOUT Carmelo..... _________________ May we all get to heaven

why does the nba even have playoffs. theres like what 3 teams that could possibly win it all and that can pretty much be narrowed down to one. but no im sure the heat bucks series will be really close and fun to watch

Idk about that now! Upsets happen in the NBA sometimes. It does seem more predictable in the NBA than the NFL or MLB or even NHL, but still... Like when Lebron and the Heat lost to the Mavs, I don't think too many people saw that coming and I don't think the Mavs were really considered a championship contender at the beginning of those playoffs. I may be wrong in my recollections on that.
But yeah, if you look at the MLB and NFL by comparison you have some random shit happening come playoff time that you don't see nearly as much in the NBA. I don't know why that is. _________________ -Ryan

i just generally think most basketball games are incredibly boring. i mean ya the best teams in every sport often do well in the post season but watching the heat bulldoze their way through the first 3 rounds just doesnt appeal to me. if they lose two games to the bucks and still win the series people will start questioning if they have what it takes to win it all
you look at the heats really long winning streak this season and it looks really good from afar but then you realize that they have three of the best players in the world and that its like an allstar team playing against scrubs.
My picks:
Houston over OKC in 7 (that will be epic! #nojinx)
Spurs over Lakers in 5 (again I am rooting for an upset but I don't see it happening yo!)
Clippers over Grizzlies in 5 (CP3 for Governor!)
Golden State over Denver in 7 (wait, no, Curry for Governor!)
Miami over Bucks in 5... (Yeah. Lebron for Almighty!)
Chicago over Brooklyn in 7 (screw you Brooklyn!)
Knicks over Celtics in 6 (Melo time, finally the Knicks won't suck again!)
Pacers over Hawks in 6 (yawn... Yeah...) _________________ -Ryan
