Very good. Still, the version of "Andy's Chest" you can find on VU is much better than this one.

Pretty great. I really need to listen to it again. I've only listened to it once and admittedly I didn't like it at first, but it quickly grew on me over the course of the album.

I've only heard a few of his solo album other than this,I think I prefer them all. This is still a great album, but the two singles are the only songs that immediately spring to mind when I think about this album, which for me sums it up perfectly, great moments with quite a lot of not so great ones.

There are legitimate reasons to prefer Berlin to this. Berlin may, in fact, be the superior record, but this one suits me better. There's some joy beneath everything else going on here that really appeals to me.

Great rock album. I prefer New York as a solo album of his goes. Still great! And this is on my to-get list.

This is my #3, so...

Almost all of the songs are great, and if they aren't they still contribute the cohesiveness of the album. That's why I really like this, it truly transports you somewhere else.

As much as I hate the term "perfect pop single" I think it's suits Perfect Day to a T. Simply beautiful.
The rest is not bad at all but it doesn't come close to Perfect Day.
Overall, as far as Lou Reed's solo albums go, I think Berlin is the better album. (Haven't heard New York yet though).

I got this album a few months ago, listened to it once and haven't listened to it all the way through again since. There are some tracks that I do really love though, like Vicious, Perfect Day, Walk on The Wild Side and the amazing, Satellite of Love. Other than that, nothing springs to mind though and it did seem a little bland. Might have to give it another listen.

I definitely prefer the Velvet Underground albums except for Loaded and Squeeze, if you even count the latter as a genuine VU album anyway.

Great album, I love the whole happy go lucky feel to it and Perfect Day and Vicious are great. I do prefer Berlin slightly more than this though, It's deeper.
