Definitely my favorite Floyd album, but I like it less with each listen... it's just starting to bore me a little at this point.

By far my fave Floyd album. It's the only album of theirs on my chart.

Features some of the most beautiful, depressive guitar I've eve heard by Davod Gilmour.
Pretty good lyrics and singing and songwriting. Waters hadn't yet become such a shit bag of utter shit, so this was pretty phenom in spite of his basic shittyness.

Really really like it!

Very good record, of course. I relistened to TDSOTM recently, and it was not as good as what I remembered, so this could be my favorite 70's Floyd release. I should make a Pink Floyd re-listen session actually.

A great Pink Floyd album, retaining most of their sound from DSotM while having a major affect by including gorgeous acoustic guitars. The only track that I have trouble liking is "Have a Cigar", it feels like filler and it doesn't do it for me. Apart from that, this is another classic album made by Pink Floyd.

I agree, Have a Cigar isn't that great. The rest is. Smile

Absolutely brilliant. Up there as one of their greatest works. The title track is probably my favorite Pink Floyd song.

I don't really like Pink Floyd. I like this better than the Wall at least.
