It's good. Not as original or amazing as Astral Weeks, but it really isn't trying to be. It's got a nice soulful horn section throughout. Some jazzy, easy listening parts. Has the obvious title track hit. And if Naples was around he'd no doubt say it was the best track! Ha!!

The opener, and it stoned me, as well as Caravan and Into the Mystic are stellar! But my fave is the super sentimental lovey dove song "Crazy Love". I am just a romantic I guess.

It's an 8.0/10 in my book.

It's pretty good. I've never been much of a Van Morrison fan, though, so I'm not crazy about it.

Absolutely fantastic. Far and away from Astral Weeks, but still a total masterpiece in its own right. And I don't agree that Moondance is the obvious standout. It clearly has a different vibe from the other tracks, for some reason, and that make it remarkable, but I liked at least three other songs better on first listen and I still do. It may be a subjective thing, though, but I really can't imagine someone being blown away by the title track and not falling in love with any of the others.

Can't stay interested in this music. Something about it doesn't grab me. Doesn't feel personal.

Still the best thing I have heard from the artist.

Don't like Astral Weeks, but this one is great. It lightens my mood and relaxes me and gets me ready to do stuff all at the same time. It's a very consistent album as well.

It's great. I prefer Veedon Fleece and Astral Weeks, but Moondance is still extremely good.

This has been number one on my list and it is still a huge sentimental favourite. Into the Mystic, Caravan and Stoned Me are some of the greatest songs of all time. Brand New Day is a beauty on side two which does lag a bit, I might admit, but perhaps only in comparison to that stunning side one. In all, this is such a beautiful work of lasting genius by a master. For me, one of the first albums I loved and knew I would listen to forever.
