albums this good are rare. There's such a fine mix of energy and sensuality on Hounds. This is my personal favorite by Kate Bush. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Really great album, still probably only my third favorite of hers however, behind The Dreaming and The Kick Inside. _________________

This, exactly. But it's a truly unique and stunning album. Kate Bush is a musical goddess.

This. Though I could never decide what I think would make a better closer, Hello Earth or The Morning Fog. _________________

The Morning Fog by far! It's the only closer on my entire chart which is the equivalent of a movie ending. A kiddie adventure movie to be precise. You know, like how they have gone on an adventure where they have seen some spooky stuff which would have traumatized any kid that wasn't a cartoon. Anyway, the big bad is defeated and they are reunited with their mentor, parents or back in the real world. The song feels like relief. It's saying "Everything is going to be alright"
The sound of 'The Morning Fog' is all over her next album by the way.

This is a truly miraculously great record. Number 9 on my chart. Like Meccalecca said , this good an album is rare.
I remember hearing this for the first time. I was so impressed and happy. I was also surprised that somehow I had gone 23 years without ever having heard of her. This record is just so great on so many different levels! I'm not gonna explain it, because I'm just dont feel like i am the best for that large task.
Listen to these tracks...
Best tracks: "Cloudbusting" and "Mother Stands For Comfort" (oh and does anyone else hear a definite influence "Mother stands for comfort" and some other parts on this album had on Fever Ray?) _________________ -Ryan

It's nice to hear an_outlaw speak so glowingly of a record that I very much enjoy myself. I was just recently killing some time watching old interviews with her on youtube. She's such a fascinating individual. Kate Bush, that is. _________________ The Swizz
