Paul was actually not very prominent around that time, but he's really invisible on A Hard Day's Night.

Me...I love Rubber Soul. Such a cool album, a great turn in their sound, and a really solid group of songs.

A Hard Day's Night? The album that contains "And I Love Her" and "Can't Buy Me Love"? Or was it the song you had in mind? Not sure that I'm following you.

I love this album. I'm starting to debate which Beatles album I think is my favourite - since I think that it's a toss up between this, Sgt. Pepper and Revolver - then again it's been a while since I last listened to this album.

Absolutely amazing. Hosts an unbelievable collection of melodies.
"I'm Looking Through You" and "If I Needed Someone" are the best tracks here.

The album. Paul wrote those two songs and Things We Said Today. That's it. George had one song. The other 10 songs were written by Lennon.

You can really hear the Dylan influence in this one. Great record.

Favorite song here is probably The Word, but it's all pretty great.

Funny... I figure that The Word is the only dud on the album.

A very solid record, but it's never resonated with me quite as much as some of their later LP's.

"Girl" has slowly become one of my favorite Beatles songs, though, an absolute masterpiece.

My second fave Beatles album. It's so well qritten and consistent and each song just has such a warm sound. Awesome album.

I have emotional connections on this album as well. U recall singing "Michelle" to my first love. Her name was, you guessed it, Michelle. And "Girl" was also my jam back in those junior high days as well.

I don't really like the album in general, but this. "The Word" is among their worst songs.

Oh I am so glad you people like In My Life. My favorite track off of one of my favorite albums of there's, and when I made the point that In My Life was my favorite Beatles song on another site, I got absolutely inundated by people who argued against that.

That said ... I kind of like The Word. I mean, that's mostly just nostalgia cuz that was the first Beatles song I knew all the lyrics of as a kid, and yet. *shrugs*
