Hello! Thanks AM for highlighting this chart. Just a little bit of context: this is a "folk" custom chart, in a very broad acceptance of the term. It was put up after someone remarked there wasn't really any folk/singer-songwriter chart yet. Ever since, better and more accurate folk charts were put up I imagine, and another one is in the making by a prominent member of this fine community. Comments include other recs by the same artist, when these recs are not there, it's because I don't know their other albums - if there are any.

Anyway, it dates back a bit, I'd probably add one or two artists in there today (most probably Jana Hunter - try Blank Unstaring Heirs of Doom, and Marissa Nadler - try Little Hells).

There's a lot I've yet to hear, but the one's I have heard are fantastic for the most part and I plan on hearing the rest eventually. All Norman's charts are awesome and this is no exception. Recs galore. Cool
