I love Nowhere, and it's one of the best shoegaze albums, but Yerself Is Steam is in my top five for a reason. Still one of the most mindblowing, fantastic albums I've ever heard. It sounds fresh to this day, and there really isn't too much like it except for Boces. Mercury Rev are one of the best bands ever in my opinion, and certainly deserve more attention then they get.

Nowhere is very solid, but to be honest it was a pretty easy vote here. Mercury Rev by a landslide.
