Great idea! We should really establish a rule for this predicament of solo artists with notable backing bands though.
Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention
Neil Young and Crazy Horse
Would bands like these count? Or just the stuff that was released under their solo name? _________________

I think (if we were to compromise between meccalecca and I's personal views) that in the case of Frank Zappa, Hot Rats would be acceptable, whereas Freak Out would not, since the former is listed on BEA under Zappa's name alone.
If we're to apply the rule to Neil Young, Harvest would be allowed, but Everybody Knows This is Nowhere wouldn't.
So that way, you'd be allowed to nominate them, but when promoting them during the tourney, you'd have to be selective what you use.
Unless there are opposing viewpoints?

This. The artist who is credited would have gotten little to no input in the release and most of the time the motivation behind releasing them is capitalising on an artists name.
