Blasphemy to rank them ! but I'll try ...

White Album...

Nah ... It's too hard, way too hard or maybe it's because I don't like ranking, it's childish ...

Anybody else think side 2 of the UK version of Yellow Submarine could have been filled up by non-album stuff from the era? I tried making up an imaginary second side, best I could do was this:

1. Baby You're a Rich Man
2. Hello Goodbye
3. You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)
4. Revolution
5. Across the Universe (Wildlife version)

If this album existed there would be no reason to consider the MMT compilation part of the core catalogue and Yellow Submarine would be a proper Beatles album. Also, Past Masters Vol 2 as a result would be like this, track 5 onwards:

5. Penny Lane
6. Strawberry Fields Forever
7. Magical Mystery Tour
8. Your Mother Should Know
9. I Am the Walrus
10. The Fool on the Hill
11. Flying
12. Blue Jay Way
13. Lady Madonna
14. The Inner Light
15. Hey Jude
16. Get Back
17. Don't Let Me Down
18. The Ballad of John and Yoko
19. Old Brown Shoe
20. Let It Be

That couldn't have been more predictable.

I'm a little surprised to see Help! so high and Please Please Me so low. It's also very different from the order on the forum regulars' chart (not a problem, just an observation).

Yes! It is also different from the overall chart. Sgt. Pepper's is higher than I expected to be too.

This is great! I actually am really loving this lil game of sorts, Cubazed! You killed it.

As for the results... Revolver at number 1 is predictable, maybe, but also right IMO.

I am surprised Rubber soul is 5. I was thinking (and hoping) it would top em all except Revolver.

It was cool.

Aside from Abbey Road being below Sgt. Pepper. Anyway, it is the best possible list I could have reasonably expected IMO, except for Beatles For Sale's ranking.

Let It Be still criminally underrated.

Yay for White Album being #2 and having most #1 votes though.
