Are people %100 proud of their lists, or is there anything you just have to confess to?

For example, I know that I have too much DMB in a top 40 list Smile Even die hard fans would probably smack me for including Everyday Laughing What? They were my favorite band in the peak of my fandom.

On a related note, would anyone confess to leaving off any albums to maintain the integrity of your list?

I realized a long time ago that being embarrassed about the music you like is just the silliest thing.

This. I'm proud of the music I like. Guess what? I love Air Supply. I love the SHIT out of Air Supply. And I'm not embarrassed about that at all.

I'm ashamed of my ability to hear. I am embarrassed by the sonic impressions I take in. I am disgusted by every sound I register.

I can't think of any particular albums I'm embarrassed by on my chart, but I am slightly embarrassed by how closely it ties into what everyone else has heard - I really haven't delved as much as many of the users here.

The only chart I was ever embarrassed of was this in the top 40, when I did my top 100 in 6th grade:

Dark Horse by Nickelback

Seriously, that was a top 40 album to me.

Now, nah. I like a lot of Beatles. Deal. I've got a Backstreet Boys album on a chart. Deal. I've got every one of Train's albums on some kind of chart, I think, I've seen them live and I love them. Deal.

It's just Nickelback ...

Yeah, but with some picks I feel I have some explaining to do. Just wrote my review of Everyday Mr. Green

Great soundtracks, I own all of them and almost went to her book tour to see Justin Furstenfeld play. Woman can't write, but dang she likes good music.

Ditto, I'm kind of ashamed of how little music I actually like
