So because we thought about it a bit more and Rain Dogs might be a bit restrictive for a first excursion into covering albums we've narrowed down the poll to those albums that had 2 votes or more plus added Blue Lines since there was quite a lot of vocal support (plus it was meant to be on the last one I just missed it out). If Rain Dogs wins this one we'll still do it. Alright get voting again!

Still most behind If You're Feeling Sinister, I feel that would be a really nice, fun project that could be good for everyone.
As for rankings as a whole, I'd probably put it like this.
1. IYFS
2. Doolittle
3. VU&N
4. Blue Lines
5. Ziggy
6. Sound Of Silver
7. ITAOTS
8. Rain Dogs
9. Funeral
This is a composite of both my interest, the viability I think they would have as cover things, and also how appealing they sound as projects. As much as I love Aeroplane, I could do without covering it as a project.

Should've had users nominate albums. Not trying to knock this idea, which I think is great, but you just picked a list of albums Behrus-style. I'm not saying that the same albums wouldn't end up nominated anyway, but if you want user participation it should be a democracy.

dude I'm all for democracy but this idea would take fucking forever to narrow down and agree upon if we just made it completely open from the start - It would get nowhere fast. If this idea is going to get rolling it needed some action taken. Yeah it's selected Behrus style but I'm not going to pander to anyone in particular's taste and we tried to go for popular albums that most users would like.

I don't understand the rush. Why not just give everyone who would seriously be interested in participating two noms each? I understand you tried to keep everyone happy, but the best way to keep people happy is to let them have their say.

Is this really worth spending time complaining over when as you'd say we'd probably end up with very similar if not the same choices?
