I don't know what my current thoughts on this album - or Hendrix in general for that matter - are. I remember really liking it but I just recently took it off my chart. I think I really need to relisten to Hendrix's music. _________________

It's basically a showcase for the greatest, by a mile, guitarist of all times.

Often masterful, but just as often guilty of overstaying its welcome.

11-12 year old me: This is the most amazing thing ever.
A few years later: I'm rarely in the mood, but when I am (and I get into the sprawl) this is the most amazing thing ever.
This is probably my favorite album of all time despite the fact that I don't listen to it that much these days.

Favorite Hendrix by a large margin. I see where people are coming from, calling it inconsistent, but I don't personally think so. Great through and through in my book
