It's great at times, kind of lame at others, just sort of all over and not the best. But still, it's pretty fabulous for all it's shortcomings.

I don't know what my current thoughts on this album - or Hendrix in general for that matter - are. I remember really liking it but I just recently took it off my chart. I think I really need to relisten to Hendrix's music.

It's basically a showcase for the greatest, by a mile, guitarist of all times.

11-12 year old me: This is the most amazing thing ever.

A few years later: I'm rarely in the mood, but when I am (and I get into the sprawl) this is the most amazing thing ever.

This is probably my favorite album of all time despite the fact that I don't listen to it that much these days.

Favorite Hendrix by a large margin. I see where people are coming from, calling it inconsistent, but I don't personally think so. Great through and through in my book

It's my least favorite release from the band, but it's still an amazing album.
