'Race For The Prize' is one of the most amazingly dreamy soundscapes I’ve heard that isn’t coined to be shoegaze or post-rock, and this is one of the leading feelings to drives The Soft Bulletin to emotional highs. It’s such an overwhelming group of sounds that hits you with The Flaming Lips best material song-after-song-after-song and it’s wonderful. I’m sure it’s no surprise that The Flaming Lips dynamic to experiment and consistently create different but still highly resonant material for me. If you haven’t heard this record somehow you are most certainly missing out.

One of my very favorite albums, turns everyday thoughts into something transcendental. Seeing this performed straight through was a highlight of my concert going life. Almost impossible to single out any particular track, but if pressed I might pick Suddenly Everything Has Changed...or What is This Light...or Feeling Yourself Disintegrate...oops

Fucking love this album. Emotional, intimate, refined, polished and just really unique. It's one of those albums that has literally no flaws to it whatsoever. The remixes may not be all that exciting (I can't tell the difference between them and the originals Sad ) but damn, some of the tracks that are not on this release order are amazing (Slow Motion).

I think it's pretty good. One of those classics I have yet to really fall in love with. Will listen again soon.

This is one of a handful of albums that I love so much that I don't think words could do it justice.
