A much darker album from the Thompson's. It's still as strong as their other records but it's a bit more of a grower. Streets of paradise, night comes in, and, beat the retreat, are just three of the standouts.
This album contains one of most greatest love's songs of popular music. "Dimming of the day" has sixteen tons (and more...) of emotion and truth.
And of course, a prodigy vocal of Linda and an outstanding work of Richard on electric and acoustic guitars.
