My favourite Primal Scream album. I purchased it the day it was released, and still absolutely love it. My favourite tracks being any Denise Johnson sang on... Amazing!
A lot of variety on this. Rock, funk, country infused, lounge music, more rock. Very mixed bag. Not there best but still a good album
"blues rock" scream = worst scream , as evidenced by "riot city blues" as well , but at least this one has no country pop
Primal Scream make a wrong turn into blues rock territory, but they still manage to fashion a good album out of it. Although it has to be said, compared to the rest of their work in the 90s it is a bit of a let-down. As long as you don't expect much, I'm pretty sure a listener will find things to enjoy about this one.
